Activities
Cycling inside or outside the park:
Lake Mburo National Park is the only park in the whole of Uganda to offer guided mountain biking within the actual park.
At Hyena Hill Lodge, our tours take place both in and outside the park providing a truly unique perspective observing wildlife away from the confines of a vehicle.
We also offer biking tours accompanied by our knowledgeable guide around the surrounding areas to visit local communities and experience rural Ugandan life often unseen by the visiting tourist. Both types of tour offer excellent opportunities for you to see a great variety of wildlife including Impala (found only at Lake Mburo National Park), Zebra, Hippo and Buffalo as well as a vast array of bird life.
We have our own mountainbikes which you can rent. Our guide will accompany you and show you together with a ranger or allone when outside the park.
The guided tour takes usually around 2 to 3 hours.
Inside the park:
US$ 25 per person for cycling outside the park
Outside the park:
US$ 25 per person for bike rent + UWA entrance fee $40 valid for 24 hours and $30 for the mandatory accompanying ranger
