Yes. To confirm your reservation, we require a deposit.

Once your reservation has been confirmed, you will receive a payment request containing the deposit amount, payment deadline, and the applicable payment terms.

The remaining balance must be paid before your arrival. Once we have received the full payment, your booking will be fully confirmed, and we will prepare everything for your stay.

If you make a last-minute reservation, we may ask you to pay the full amount immediately.

Yes. A security deposit of €200 is required for every reservation.

The security deposit serves as security for any damage to the apartment, loss of keys or access tags, or additional cleaning costs if the apartment is not left in accordance with the house rules.

After your departure, our property manager will inspect the apartment during the check-out. If everything has been left in good condition and no issues are found, the security deposit will be refunded within 10 business days to the same bank account used for the payment.

Should there be any reason to withhold part or all of the security deposit, we will always inform you in advance and provide a clear explanation. We value transparency and excellent communication with our guests.

Yes, we highly recommend renting a car during your stay in Curaçao. Although public transportation is available, a rental car is by far the most convenient and comfortable way to explore the island.

Papaya Resort is located in the peaceful and centrally situated neighborhood of Grote Berg. From here, you can reach some of Curaçao's most beautiful beaches, including Porto Mari, Cas Abou, Kokomo Beach, and Blue Bay, within 10 to 20 minutes. Willemstad, Hato International Airport, supermarkets, and a wide range of restaurants are also easily accessible by car.

Having your own car gives you the freedom to discover the island at your own pace. Take a day trip to Christoffel National Park, Shete Boka National Park, Playa Kenepa (Grote Knip), the Jan Kok flamingos, or visit one of the many beach clubs and local restaurants that make Curaçao such a unique destination.

We can help you arrange a car rental that is ready and waiting at the airport, so you can drive directly to the resort upon arrival. The route is straightforward and well signposted. Upon departure you can return the car at the airport.
